With the disappearance of forests and the non-avilability of traditional building
materials, housing is a major problem for the adivasis. Even while AMS members are
trying to organise themselves to solve the financial requirements, the Architects
associated with AMS have trained adivasi youth in Low-Cost Housing technology. Here,
a group of trained youth is making Soil Cement Blocks to construct their own houses.
