The Mullukurumbas live in the villages bordering Kerala and are the most advanced
of the tribes. They have been practicing settled agriculture for quite some time and
most of the families own land. The educational status of this tribe is very good and
like this girl, almost all the Mullukurumba children go to school without fail.
